Presenter Ingest gives each of your remote presenters one private link. When they open it, everything they need is on a single page:
- Their studio connection, running right inside the page: vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi Meet or WHIP. You choose the connection for each presenter.
- Their own slide clicker, if you want one: Interspace GlobalCue, Cliqer, or web requests to your own show control such as Bitfocus Companion. Presenters get Back and Forward (and optionally Black screen), or Cliqer's own controls.
- Your messages from the studio: a banner for everyone ("Comfort break, back at 14:30"), a countdown, and cues for one presenter at a time ("You're on next").
- A camera, microphone and speaker check, so they can test their kit before the session.
Presenters don't install anything or create an account. They open their link in Chrome, Edge or Safari, allow the camera and microphone, and they're connected.
How it fits together
- You book seats: one seat per presenter, for the weeks or months you need. See Book presenter seats.
- You set up each seat with the presenter's name, their studio connection and, optionally, their slide clicker. See Seats and presenter links.
- You send each presenter their link. It stays the same for the whole booking, even when you change the connection behind it.
- On the day, you run everything from live control: you see who's connected and can put messages on their screens.
What you need in the studio
Presenter Ingest is the presenter-facing page. The studio side is yours:
- vMix (with a vMix Call input per presenter), or software such as OBS or vMix that can take a VDO.Ninja view link, or a Jitsi meeting, or a WHIP server (for SRT, through a gateway such as MediaMTX).
- If you want presenters to control their own slides: an Interspace GlobalCue or Cliqer account, or show control that takes web requests, such as Bitfocus Companion.
Tip
You don't have to have the studio ready before you book. Send presenters their links as soon as you've booked, and add or change the studio connection later: the link never changes.
