Auto-renew

Optional: have a booking renew itself a week or a month at a time until you turn it off.

Rather not remember to extend? A paid, running booking can renew itself, a week or a month at a time, until you turn it off. It's optional: one-off payments stay the normal way to pay.

Turn it on

On the booking, under Extend, find Auto-renew.

  1. Choose Renew every week or month. The price is the same as extending by that much.
  2. Press Set up auto-renew.
  3. Save your card on our payment provider's secure page.

Nothing is charged that day. The first charge is on the day the time you've already paid for ends, and then at the start of each week or month after that. Each payment adds that time to the end of the booking, and there's an invoice for each one.

Auto-renew on a booking

Note

Auto-renew has to be turned on at least 2 days before the booking ends. If it ends sooner, extend it instead.

Reminders

We email you before each charge: 7 days before a monthly renewal and 2 days before a weekly one. The email says the date, the amount and what it adds, with a link to turn auto-renew off or change your card.

Change your card or turn it off

On the booking, under Auto-renew:

  • Change card opens the payment provider's page, where you can update the card.
  • Turn off auto-renew stops future charges. The time you've already paid for runs to its end as usual.

If a renewal payment fails, the booking shows a warning and the payment is retried over the next few days. Press Update card to fix it. The booking is only extended once a payment goes through.

A booking can't be deleted while it's renewing: turn auto-renew off first.
