Presenter Ingest

Terms of service

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Presenter Ingest at presenteringest.com (the "service"), provided by Derham Productions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12548980), of Unit 5 - Pole Position, London Road, Bassets Pole, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands B75 5SA (VAT registration number GB311 3718 40). "We" and "us" means Derham Productions Ltd; "you" means the person or organisation that creates an account and books seats.

By creating an account or making a booking you agree to these terms. If you're booking on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to agree to them for it.

1. The service

Presenter Ingest gives each of your remote presenters a private web page (a "presenter link") that connects them to your own studio, through vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi Meet or a WHIP server, and, optionally, to your own slide clicker (Interspace GlobalCue presenter slots, a Cliqer room, or your own show control through web requests), with live status messages and cues from you.

You need your own studio set-up (such as vMix with vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, a Jitsi Meet service or a WHIP server) and, for the slide clicker, your own GlobalCue or Cliqer account or show control. We don't provide, control or support vMix, vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi, any WHIP server, GlobalCue, Cliqer, your show control or any Q&A tool you link to; they're run by their own providers under their own terms.

The service is intended for business use by event organisers and production companies.

The service is hosted on servers in the United Kingdom provided by IONOS (IONOS Cloud Ltd). Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at hello@derhamproductions.com if you think someone else has used it.

3. Bookings, prices and payment

  • A booking is for a number of presenter seats for a number of weeks or months from a start date you choose.
  • Prices include VAT. For customers in the UK and the Isle of Man, the price includes UK VAT at 20%, shown on your invoice.
  • Outside the UK we sell to businesses only: you'll need to give your company name and its VAT, GST or business tax number when you book. Business customers outside the UK pay the same price with no UK VAT. The reverse charge applies: you account for any VAT due in your own country. We check EU VAT numbers with the European Commission's VIES service; if a number doesn't pass, we can't complete the booking until it's corrected. You confirm that the business details you give us are accurate, and that you're booking for your business.
  • You pay by card when you book. A booking isn't a subscription: unless you turn on auto-renew (below), nothing renews or is charged automatically. You can extend a booking at any time by paying for more weeks or months.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. A booking becomes active once your payment is confirmed. We issue an invoice for every payment (a VAT invoice for UK customers), which you can download from your booking.
  • Presenter links work from two days before the start date (for tech checks) until shortly after the booking ends. Extending a booking keeps the same links.
  • We may change our prices at any time. Changes don't affect bookings or extensions already paid for.

Auto-renew (optional)

  • You can turn on auto-renew for a paid booking from its booking page. It then renews the booking one week or one month at a time (you choose which), at the price shown when you turn it on, which is the same as extending the booking by that much. That price stays the same for as long as auto-renew is on.
  • Your card is saved securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Nothing is charged when you turn auto-renew on. The first charge is on the day the time you've already paid for ends, and then at the start of each week or month after that. Each payment adds that time to the end of your booking, and we issue an invoice for it. We email you a reminder a few days before each charge, with the date, the amount and how to turn auto-renew off.
  • You can turn auto-renew off at any time from the booking page. Nothing more is charged after that, and the time you've already paid for runs to its end. You can also change the card it uses from the booking page.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again over the next few days, and the booking is only extended once a payment goes through. If it still can't be collected, auto-renew stops and the booking ends when its paid time runs out.
  • Deleting a booking, or our deleting it under our data retention periods, stops its auto-renew straight away.
  • Renewal payments follow the refund rules below: a renewal isn't refundable once the week or month it pays for has started.

4. Cancellations and refunds

  • You can cancel a booking before its start date for a full refund: email hello@derhamproductions.com with your booking code.
  • Once a booking has started, payments for it aren't refundable, as the seats have been reserved for you for that period.
  • If the service is unavailable for a significant part of your booking because of a fault on our side, tell us and we'll either extend your booking or give you a fair partial refund.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree:

  • to use the service lawfully, and only for presenters taking part in your events;
  • to keep presenter links private, and to switch off or replace a seat's link if it may have been shared (you can do this from your booking);
  • that the details you enter (presenter names and emails, studio connection details such as vMix Call keys, VDO.Ninja links, Jitsi meeting links and WHIP addresses and tokens, GlobalCue IDs, Cliqer rooms, clicker web addresses and tokens, messages and Q&A links) are accurate and that you're entitled to use them;
  • that any show control you make reachable for web-request clickers is yours to control and suitably secured: we send it a request when a presenter presses a button, and you're responsible for what it does with it;
  • that you're responsible for your presenters' personal data you give us, and for telling your presenters how it's used (see our privacy policy). For that data we act on your behalf, as your data processor;
  • not to try to break, overload, probe or get around the security of the service, or use it to send unsolicited messages.

We may suspend an account or booking that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can.

6. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. It depends on the internet and on services we don't control, including vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi, your WHIP server, GlobalCue, Cliqer, your show control, browsers and your presenters' own connections and equipment. We may pause new bookings or carry out maintenance from time to time; we'll try to do this without affecting bookings in progress.

We recommend you always test each presenter's connection before going live, and have a fallback plan for important events.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Otherwise:

  • we aren't liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
  • we aren't liable for the services of third parties (including vMix, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi, GlobalCue, Cliqer, Stripe and Q&A tools) or for problems with presenters' equipment or connections;
  • our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking, including any extensions.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version shown here, with its date, applies to new bookings and extensions from that date. If a change affects you significantly, we'll tell you by email.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
