Presenter Ingest

vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi or WHIP - one link per presenter

Remote presenters, studio-ready.

Give every speaker one private link: their connection to your studio (vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi or WHIP), their own slide clicker, and your live cues - nothing to install, no logins for presenters. Book it by the week or the month, only when you need it.

For event producers and AV crews bringing remote speakers into a live or hybrid show.

One link for presenters, instead of a handful

Remote presenting usually means juggling: a call link in one email, a clicker link or app in another, cues arriving by chat or text, and a device test on yet another site - with several tabs open and something always in the wrong one. Presenter Ingest puts it all on one page. Each presenter opens a single private link and finds their studio connection, their own slide clicker, your live cues and a camera and mic check together, so they can relax and focus on their talk instead of their tabs.

Without Presenter Ingest

  • A call link to find
  • A new link to send whenever the call changes
  • Links held back until the show is built
  • A separate clicker link or app
  • Cues by chat, text or phone
  • A device test on another site
  • Several tabs open at once

With Presenter Ingest

  • One private link
  • The same link, even when the vMix Call key changes
  • Links out on day one, before the show is built
  • Studio connection and slide clicker on one page
  • Banners and cues right on their screen
  • Camera, mic and speaker check built in
  • Nothing to install, nothing to log in to

See it

One link, one page, the whole session

Watch how a presenter's page and your live controls fit together in under a minute. Then try it yourself: the demo puts you in the studio, with a real presenter page next to your controls.

  • No sign-up
  • Nothing to install
  • Runs in your browser

Show a banner, start a countdown, send a cue and press the slide clicker - and watch it land on the presenter's page.

Everything a remote presenter needs, on one page

Change the call, not the link

The link you send a presenter never changes. Give them a different vMix Call key, move them to another vMix Call input, or switch them to VDO.Ninja: change it on their seat and their page reconnects by itself, even if it's already open. Nothing to resend, nothing to update, and nothing for the presenter to do.

Send links on day one

Each presenter's link is ready the moment you book. Send them all out straight away, before you've built your vMix show or made a single vMix Call input. Presenters can open their link, check their camera and mic, and wait on "Waiting for the studio" until you add their key - then their page connects by itself.

Your studio connection, per seat

Choose each seat's connection - vMix Call, VDO.Ninja, Jitsi Meet or WHIP (for SRT, through a gateway such as MediaMTX) - and the presenter's link opens straight into your studio, with the call running right in their page.

Slide clicker: GlobalCue, Cliqer or your show control

Choose a clicker per seat. Back and Forward buttons, plus an optional Black screen, drive the presenter's Interspace GlobalCue slot, or send a web request to your own show control - Bitfocus Companion, ProPresenter, vMix and more - and the IDs and addresses never reach their browser. Using Cliqer? The seat's room appears right in the page. Two screens? Presenters can pop the clicker out into its own window.

Live studio banner

Stand by, comfort break, technical problem, back at 14:30 - set it once and every presenter sees it within seconds.

Cues for one presenter

"You're on next", "Please wrap up", "Time's up" or your own words, flashed big on just that presenter's screen.

See who's connected

Your control page shows which presenters have their page open right now, so you know who to chase before you go live.

A private link for each presenter

Every presenter gets their own unique link, straight to their own seat: their studio connection, their slide clicker and their cues. Switch a link off or swap it for a new one at any time. Links open a couple of days before your start date for tech checks and stay the same when you extend.

Camera, mic & speaker check

Every presenter gets a one-minute check: camera picture, microphone level, a recording to play back and a test sound. It works before their link opens, and nothing leaves their computer.

Try the device check →

Your Q&A tool on their page

Running Slido or another Q&A? Add its link to the booking and every presenter sees the questions right on their page, or pops them out to a second screen.

Their page, their way

Presenters can move the slide clicker, Q&A and checks to either side of the studio picture or under it, resize the columns and hide what they don't need. Their layout is remembered on their computer.

Only pay when you need it

No subscription needed and nothing to cancel. Book a week for a one-off event or months for a busy season, let it lapse in the quiet times, and extend whenever the next show comes round - or turn on auto-renew if you'd rather it ran itself.

Live control

Run every presenter from one dashboard

On the day, your booking page becomes a live control dashboard. See who's connected and put messages on presenters' screens - no back channel, no phone calls mid-session.

  1. See who's connected

A green dot lights up for every presenter whose page is open, updated every few seconds, so you can chase anyone missing before you go live.

  2. Banners and countdowns for everyone

Stand by, comfort break or your own words, with an optional "back at 14:30" - or a big countdown, for 5 minutes or to 14:30. Every presenter sees it within seconds.

  3. A cue for one presenter

"You're on next", "You're live", "Please wrap up", "Time's up" or your own message flashes big on just that presenter's screen.

  4. From any browser

Run it from the laptop next to your vision mixer or a phone in the gallery. Nothing to install, and presenters don't need to do a thing.

Call in Q&A

Put your audience on air

Share one link with your live audience. Viewers give their name and question, check their camera and mic, and wait in a queue you can see. When you're ready, bring the next one in: their page connects to your guest slot by itself.

  1. Show the join link or its QR code on screen, or post it in the chat.
  2. Read each question in the queue, move people up or down, or take them out.
  3. Press Bring in, and the guest lands in your vMix Call, VDO.Ninja or Jitsi input. End the call when they're done, and the slot is free for the next.

An add-on to any booking, for as long as it runs

  • 1 guest slot £20 a month or £10 a week
  • 2 guest slots £35 a month or £17.50 a week
  • 4 guest slots £60 a month or £30 a week

Try it: put yourself on air

How Call in Q&A works →

Plug into your show

Run it from a Stream Deck. Show it in vMix.

Everything in Live control also works from Bitfocus Companion, and the countdown and who's connected can go straight into your vMix production. Both are included with every booking.

Bitfocus Companion and Stream Deck

Add the Presenter Ingest module to Companion, paste your booking's key, and drag ready-made buttons onto your pages. They're named after your presenters and light up as things change.

  • A button per presenter: green while they're on their page. Tap to switch their link on, hold to switch it off.
  • One press sends "You're on next" or "Please wrap up" to a presenter; press again to clear it.
  • The countdown on a dial: turn it to add or take away time, press it to pause.
  • Set a countdown, adjust it, then start it when you're ready: presenters see nothing until then.
  • Banners for everyone, and variables (names, who's connected, time left) for your own buttons and triggers.

Show it in vMix

Make read-only links on your booking page and add them to vMix. Nobody can change anything with them, and they show only what Live control shows.

  • The countdown as a see-through overlay over your shot, ticking every second, turning amber and red as time runs out.
  • A dashboard of every presenter, who's on their page and their cue, plus the countdown and banner: handy on a multiview or confidence monitor.
  • The data behind it for your own GT titles, through a vMix Data Source: the time left, the banner, each presenter's name and status.
  • Works in OBS and any browser source too.

vMix Call

More presenters than vMix Call inputs

Every presenter keeps the same link all day, so you don't need an input for each of them. Move a vMix Call key from seat to seat as the running order goes, and their open pages follow by themselves.

  1. Send everyone their link early. Seats without a key show "Waiting for the studio", and Live control shows who's there.
  2. When it's someone's turn, paste a free input's key into their seat: their page connects by itself.
  3. When they've finished, take the key out and give it to the next presenter.
How to share inputs →

How it works

  1. Book your seats

Create an account, pick 1, 4, 8, 16 or 24 presenters, a start date and how many weeks or months, and pay securely by card.

  2. Set up each seat

Add the presenter's name, their studio connection (a vMix Call key, VDO.Ninja link, Jitsi meeting or WHIP address) and their slide clicker (GlobalCue, Cliqer or web requests) from your own systems.

  3. Send the links

Copy each private link to its presenter - straight away, even before your vMix show is built. On the day, watch who's connected and cue them from your control page.

Pricing

Pick the package that fits and book it by the week or by the month, for as long as you need. You bring your own studio set-up and slide clicker.

Not tied into a subscription

Pay once for the weeks or months you choose and that's it - nothing renews unless you choose to, there's no contract and nothing to cancel. When your time is up the links simply stop. Back in the studio later? Extend your booking in a couple of clicks and the same presenter links work again. Prefer it to run itself? Turn on auto-renew for a booking and it renews a week or a month at a time until you turn it off.

  • No contract
  • Pay by the week or the month
  • Auto-renew only if you want it
  • Extend any time, same links

Questions

Is this a subscription?

Not unless you want it to be. You pay once, by card, for the weeks or months you choose, and nothing renews or charges you again - when your time runs out the links stop, and you can extend whenever you need them again. If you'd rather a booking kept going, turn on auto-renew from its booking page: it renews a week or a month at a time, at the same price as extending, until you turn it off. There's no contract either way.

Do prices include VAT?

Yes. Prices include UK VAT at 20%, shown on your invoice. Outside the UK we sell to businesses only: give your company's VAT or tax number and you pay the same price with no UK VAT, under the reverse charge.

Can I book for just a week?

Yes. Every package can be booked by the week as well as by the month - from £1 a week for one presenter. You can mix them too: if your event runs over, add a week to a monthly booking and the same links keep working.

Can I send presenter links before my studio is set up?

Yes. Each presenter's link is theirs from the moment you book, so you can get every link out quickly, before you've had time to build your vMix show, and add the vMix Call key, VDO.Ninja link, Jitsi meeting or WHIP address later. You can also change it at any time, even to another platform, for example if you rebuild your show: the link never changes, and a presenter page that's already open switches to the new call by itself.

Do I have to resend links if the vMix Call key changes?

No. A presenter's link stays the same for the whole booking. Change the vMix Call key on their seat - for a different input, a new key, or another platform such as VDO.Ninja - and their page picks it up within a few seconds, even if it's already open. There's nothing to resend and nothing for the presenter to update.

What do I need in the studio?

Your own studio set-up and, for the slide clicker, Interspace GlobalCue, Cliqer, or show control that takes web requests (such as Bitfocus Companion, ProPresenter or vMix). Presenter Ingest is the presenter-facing page. Each seat connects through vMix Call (one vMix Call input per seat), VDO.Ninja (add its view link to vMix or OBS), Jitsi Meet (Jitsi as a Service or your own Jitsi server) or WHIP (your own WHIP server; a gateway such as MediaMTX turns it into SRT). The clicker is optional per seat.

Can presenters join with Zoom, Teams or NDI?

Not through Presenter Ingest. The whole call runs inside the presenter's page, so their link is all they need, and Zoom and Teams can't run inside another website for guests. NDI Remote has been discontinued by NDI. For a browser-based route into NDI or SRT workflows, use VDO.Ninja or WHIP.

Can presenters test their equipment first?

Yes. Every presenter link has its own camera, microphone and speaker check, which works even before the link opens. Anyone can also try it from Device check in the menu, or at presenteringest.com/device-check. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

Can our audience ask questions on air?

Yes, with the Call in Q&A add-on. Viewers join a queue from one link, with no account or app, and pass a camera and mic check. You see their questions on your booking page and bring them in one at a time, into guest call slots that work like presenter seats.

Do presenters need an account?

No. Each presenter just opens their private link in Chrome, Edge or Safari. Only you, the organiser, have an account.

What happens when my booking runs out?

The presenter links stop working and you're not charged anything more. Extend the booking from your account at any time - before or after it ends - and the same links work again, so you never have to re-send them.

What if a link gets shared?

Issue a new link for that seat from your booking page - the old one stops working immediately. You can also switch any seat off.

How many presenters can I have?

Packages go up to 24 presenters. For bigger or multi-studio events, get in touch and we'll set up a custom booking.

No subscription needed. Just book the weeks or months you need.
