# Show it in vMix

Put the countdown, or who's on their page, into your vMix production, or drive your own titles from the booking.

Your booking can give you links that show [Live control](https://presenteringest.com/help/live-control/live-control-dashboard) inside vMix. Make them on the booking page under **Show it in vMix**: press **Make vMix links**, then copy the one you need.

| Link | What it shows | Use it in vMix as |
|---|---|---|
| **Countdown** | The countdown, its label, and Paused, Overtime or Time's up | A Web Browser input |
| **Dashboard** | Each seat with the presenter's name, whether they're on their page, their cue, plus the countdown and banner | A Web Browser input |
| **Data for titles** | The same information as data | A Data Source for your own titles |

## The countdown or dashboard as an input

1. In vMix, choose **Add Input → Web Browser**.
2. Paste the link and set the size to **1920 × 1080**.
3. Use it like any other input: as an overlay over your shot, in a multiview, or on a confidence monitor.

The background is see-through, so the countdown sits over whatever is under it. For a dark background instead, add `?bg=dark` to the end of the link.

The pages check for changes every 2 seconds, and the countdown ticks every second in between. The countdown turns amber in its last minute and when it's paused, and red when time's up.

## Your own titles

To show the countdown or a presenter's name in a title you've designed:

1. In vMix, open **Data Sources** and add a **JSON** source.
2. Paste the **Data for titles** link and set it to refresh every second.
3. Choose the table:
    - **status** (one row) has `timer` (for example `4:05`, or `+0:30` in overtime), `timer_label`, `timer_state`, `banner`, `on_page` and `seats_on`.
    - **seats** (a row per seat) has `seat`, `name`, `on_page` (Yes or No), `link` (On or Off), `status` and `cue`.
4. In the Title Editor, link a text field to a column.

## Keeping the links safe

The links can only show things: nobody can change your booking with them. They show seat names and cues, though, so share them only with your crew.

- **Make new links** replaces them: the old ones stop working straight away, so update them in vMix.
- **Turn off** stops them.
- They stop by themselves when the booking ends.

 Note

The links never show presenter links, email addresses or your studio connections.
